Design and Create a Front-End System to Interact with Digital Scanners for High-Speed Survey Processing

Background: A new company was formed with the goal of providing high speed processing of surveys as a service.

Objective: To setup a reliable network of hardware and software for fast and reliable processing of survey data.

Solution: A large capacity Novell server and Windows PCs were purchased and installed. Two high-speed desktop document scanners were purchased and installed. The software that interfaced with the scanners was based in Borland's Delphi programming language. Custom software was written for a user-friendly interface to process the documents.
